Teide By Night is the evening version of the Mount Teide tour in Tenerife, and you get more from it than from the day trip. You still travel up through Teide National Park, with stops along the way, but you stay on for the sunset and the stars. Pickup is in the afternoon, close to your hotel or accommodation. As the sun goes down, you’ll be above the clouds with a drink in your hand, watching the light change over the volcanic landscape. Once it’s dark, the stargazing begins. Teide National Park is a Starlight Destination with one of the best night skies in the world, and your guide uses lasers and professional telescopes to show you what’s up there: the constellations, the deep sky, and the stories and mythology behind them. A three-course meal with wine and soft drinks is included, along with the drinks at sunset. It’s several excursions in one evening, which is why it’s such good value.
